A Creativity Found Collective collaboration

Oct 03, 2022

On November 17th 2022 Creatful in Hampshire is hosting a second workshop in collaboration with fellow Creativity Found Collective member Bargello a GoGo, which warms the cockles of my Creativity Found heart.

Being a Collective member is all about supporting and being supported by other creative facilitators, so I am over the moon that Nancy and Natalie have connected and started working together.

Here's what Nancy, from Creatful, has to say:

Over a year ago I'd never heard of Bargello stitch

As members of Creativity Found Natalie of Bargello a GoGo and I were introduced.

I was really drawn to the stitch. It's got that groovy, funky 1970's vibe that is really popular at the moment. Along with that its not overly difficult so it's quite accessible as a craft.

I can't remember what came first, but I ordered myself one of Bargello a GoGo's kits and I found it really straight forward and enjoyed making it. Around the same time Natalie had complemented what we do at Creatful and had offered to travel the country to deliver a workshop on the stitch.

Super excited and grateful, I didn't want to put Natalie out but I was keen to share Bargello with our audience. We came to an agreement to collaborate on a workshop. Natalie providing the kits and myself teaching the stitch.

I ran the first workshop with Bargello a GoGo's materials in February of this year, which went really well, and we've got our next one booked in November.

I can't wait to share this mindful stitch with a few more crafters.

Creatful and Bargello a GoGo are members of the Creativity Found Collective, and you can see their pages at

Creativity Found Collective

The Creativity Found Collective is a membership for artists and crafters who share their creative skills with grown-ups through workshops, online courses, products or subscriptions. It is also a membership for business-support enterprises who use their expertise to help those artists and crafters to grow their businesses.

We promote their offerings on the website and connect them with a network of like-minded business owners.

All of this is backed up by the Creativity Found podcast, in which I chat with grown-ups who have found or re-found their creativity later in life.

You can find out more about the Creativity Found Collective membership here.

And don't forget, you can subscribe to the mailing list here.
